Official Disclaimer

LexNeethi AI is an AI-powered legal research and drafting assistant. The information, responses, and documents generated by LexNeethi AI are provided for informational and drafting assistance only and do not constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or the creation of an advocate-client relationship.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before relying upon it or submitting it to any court, tribunal, government authority, or third party.

LexNeethi AI may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Users should independently verify all legal information with the latest applicable laws, judicial precedents, notifications, and regulations.

LexNeethi AI and its owners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, legal consequences, or claims arising from the use of AI-generated content.

1. No advocate-client relationship

Your use of LexNeethi AI does not create an advocate-client, attorney-client, or any fiduciary relationship between you and LexNeethi, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, or licensors. Any information exchanged with the Service is not privileged in the same manner as a communication with a legal counsel and users should not treat it as such.

2. Not legal advice

The Service is a research and drafting assistant. Nothing generated, displayed, or transmitted by the Service constitutes legal advice, an authoritative statement of law, or a legal opinion. For advice on your specific facts and circumstances you must consult a qualified advocate enrolled with a Bar Council in the applicable jurisdiction.

3. Accuracy is not guaranteed

AI models can produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, out-of-date, or that misapplies statutory provisions or case law (sometimes referred to as “hallucination”). Legal doctrine, statutes, notifications, and precedents are constantly evolving. LexNeethi does not represent or warrant that outputs are accurate, current, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

4. User verification obligations

  • Read every AI-generated response carefully.
  • Cross-check citations, statutory references and quotations against authoritative primary sources (e.g., official law-ministry publications, the SCC Online reporter, the India Code portal, court websites).
  • Edit and adapt drafts to your specific facts, jurisdiction, court format, and applicable procedure.
  • Ensure the final content complies with the Bar Council of India Rules and any professional-conduct obligations to which you are subject.

5. High-stakes and time-sensitive matters

Do not rely on the Service as the sole source of information for time-sensitive filings, limitation deadlines, criminal-defence strategy, tax planning, regulatory submissions, or matters involving substantial financial or personal risk. Independent legal advice is essential.

6. Prohibited representations

You must not represent to any court, tribunal, regulator, opposing party, or third party that content generated by LexNeethi AI has been drafted by an advocate, is legal advice, or is otherwise privileged.

7. Bar Council of India compliance

Advocates using the Service remain subject to the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules on Standards of Professional Conduct and Etiquette. Users must ensure that the manner in which they use AI outputs does not amount to advertising, touting, sharing of privileged information, or any other conduct restricted by the applicable rules.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexNeethi and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, loss of profits, loss of business, or legal consequences resulting from your use of, or reliance upon, any AI-generated content.

9. Consent

By creating an account and using AI features of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this AI Usage Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the AI features immediately.
